The "Big" Audition
I “cheated death” on my way to Biggest Loser Asia Malaysia audition. Couple of weeks ago, I was hospitalized for 6 days as I was suspected to a mild stroke attack. Luckily I survived, and thinking I was given the “second chance” in life. However, with a “Carpal Tunnel Syndrome” and “Sleeping Apnoea”, I must lose up my weight, a lot of it.
How bad I want to be in the show? As for the money, its something worth to keep on surviving or dying for. Then, its about gaining LIFE. The stroke attack might had cost me my life. Now its time to make it better. So here I am, to the audition. The main reason I’m here is because I’m inspired. I’m inspired to be like Matt, the first season winner, Bob & Jilian, the trainer, and all the contestants. They make me believe to have faith in myself and others that we can be like them as long we keep on trying and work hard.
As I follow the queue with a long waiting list, I met a lot of new and wonderful peoples. Peoples who had the same motivations, supports, targets and all to be someone they always dream of. Not to forget the problems, limitations and things we can’t afford to do so. Ironically, we all even shared common problems such as when wearing and tying our shoes, boarding the flight, fitting the rollercoaster seat, just to name a few. I made a group of 6 friends, which whoever selected to the show will definitely inspires the others. Also, an oath to always keep in touch.
That’s one of many stories that could be heard yesterday, but yet, with all the wait and fuss (not to mention the starving and the standing in the sun), the ‘temptation table’ had not actually answered many questions, am I in? so what’s next? will you call me up? It just end there. No info, update or anything. Most of us go home with our heads down. Its was tiring at first, nervous then, and lastly left unanswered.
Don’t left us out. I would suggest that since we had 200++ people turnout, why don’t we have our own ‘MALAYSIA BIGGEST LOSER’ edition? Our people, our stage, our competition. Being overweight is a Global issue, lets do something about it. We have our own F1 races, why can’t we have this one too? Lets have our compilation of 200++ people registered yesterday and let’s do it together..! All of us..! One target, to lose that weight and gain lotsa life..! I believe it’ll mark something in the Malaysia Book of Records as well. Why not? MALAYSIA BOLEH..!!!
Its about inspiring people.
I wanna lose my weight even I’m not selected for the show
I wanna gain my life even I’m not selected in for the show
I wanna inspire people even I’m not selected for the show
It will be a big honor to be a spoke person to each other, right?
We might be overweight, but seriously we’re cute, adorable and huggable too.
Frustated? We met Sarimah in person yesterday. =)
